SYMOMATH 2024

The International Symposium on Biomathematics (Symomath) is an annual scientific program provided by the Indonesian Biomathematics Society (IBMS) in cooperation with some universities in Indonesia.  The first Symomath was held at Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2013, and in 2024, the 11th Symomath will be conducted by Universitas Indonesia in Depok.
 
The Symomath 2024 will be held on 10-12 July 2024 in full offline mode in Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia. As a multidisciplinary forum, this symposium provides meeting to enhance scientific exchange and collaboration between researchers, students, and industrial practitioners who develop and apply mathematical, statistical, and computational tools to study phenomena in the broad fields of biology, epidemiology, ecology, medicine, environmental science, etc.  
 
Call for Paper
Academicians, researchers, students, and industrial practitioners from all over the world are invited to participate in the symposium. The topics of the symposium align to (but not limited to) the following fields:
• Population Dynamics
• Infectious Diseases
• Bio-Informatics and Systems Biology
• Bio-Engineering and Synthetic Biology
• Bio-Statistics
• Renewable Resources in industries
• Bio-Mathematics with Economic and Conservation Issues
• Applications of Mathematics in Medical Sciences
• Optimization and Optimal Control in Life Sciences
• Computational Methods in Life Sciences Models
• Ecology

Participants need to submit their abstract indicating the research results. Only the selected abstract will be presented in the symposium which passes the internal review process. The selected papers (which are subject to a full review process) will be considered for publications in American Institute of Physics (AIP) Conference Proceeding Series (indexed by Scopus), with additional publication fee
